Company Profile
At Satellite Imaging Corporation (SIC), we have built our reputation on the quality and precision of the work we’ve delivered. From the retrieval of imaging data to the final image processing and spectral analysis, we understand your need for impeccable accuracy, image quality, and analysis. Whether your project involves mapping a city, planning a pipeline, or routing a railroad, our products are always delivered with above industry standards and accuracy, because we know that even the smallest inaccuracies can lead to increased project costs.
History
SIC was formed in the early 1990s as a response to increasing demand for medium and high-resolution 2D and 3D satellite image data. Management has over 40 years of experience in on/offshore survey, satellite remote sensing, and GIS industry. SIC has processed satellite image data for clients belonging to a variety of industries for their domestic and international mapping needs.
SIC continues to provide services and consultancy to the energy industry since 1985 as well as many other industries requiring image data for a GIS project or any other mapping and modeling environment.

SIC has performed projects throughout Africa, Europe, Russia, North America, South America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Our portfolio includes cadastre and GIS projects for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), precision agriculture mapping, transportation, and pipeline corridor surveys, nearshore bathymetry, support for 2D/3D seismic data acquisition, and the planning of well locations and access roads located in rural and remote areas around the world.
Our team members share an unmatched commitment to quality control. We provide continuing geodesy, mapping, ArcGIS 2D, and 3D geospatial support services to our clients. We ensure that the 2D and 3D image data sets provided to our clients are utilized in only the most effective manner. On every GIS project, whether large or small, we implement ongoing data quality control to ensure that coordinate databases, foreign source data such as geological and topographic maps, GIS data attributes, and layers create a truly seamless GIS mapping environment.
We believe in expansion through technological and educational growth. We use our in-house knowledge in geodesy, land and hydrographic surveying, 2D/3D digital mapping, GIS, satellite remote sensing applications, and techniques to add qualified technical and academic personnel. These practices facilitate the improvement and expansion of services and products supplied to our clients.

Consultancy
Ongoing Satellite remote sensing and GIS consultancy services are provided to our clients, including the set-up of reliable source coordinate databases in support of computerized mapping, exploration, and development of projects around the world and to clients implementing AI/ CV or GIS management systems, utilizing a variety of source data.
